Meet Our Founder

My Story
Born and raised in Rosedale, Mississippi, Ms. Shakelia James is a visionary entrepreneur, marketing professional, author, mentor, and youth advocate with a passion for helping others discover their God-given purpose through entrepreneurship.
From an early age, Shakelia developed a love for creativity and business. Over the years, she has launched and managed several businesses, each contributing to her experience as an entrepreneur and leader.
Her entrepreneurial journey began in the beauty industry, where she founded Face of Beauty, a skincare and beauty business while also serving as an independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. At just 19 years old, she expanded her skills into the beauty profession as a hairstylist specializing in custom wig making and sew-in installations, serving clients while learning firsthand what it means to build and operate a business.
Seeking to broaden her professional experience, Shakelia relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked in corporate marketing with One Connext Consulting, gaining valuable experience in business development, marketing, branding, and client engagement. During her time in Atlanta, she also helped launch a nonprofit organization known as Connection in Midtown, where she contributed to community outreach and organizational development.
Today, Shakelia continues to combine creativity, business strategy, and ministry through several purpose-driven ventures. She is the founder of:
-
Digital Creator Brand – A creative marketing and branding agency serving businesses, nonprofits, and ministries.
-
Born For This Coaching – A coaching platform dedicated to helping entrepreneurs discover clarity, purpose, and strategy.
-
Thy Kingdom Come Ministries Blog – A faith-based platform that encourages spiritual growth, leadership, and biblical entrepreneurship.
Shakelia is also a self-published author, creating faith-based books, children's resources, and entrepreneurship materials designed to educate, encourage, and inspire readers of all ages.
One of her greatest passions is teaching others about multiple streams of income, passive income, and building long-term financial stability. She believes entrepreneurship is not simply about owning a business—it is about creating opportunities, solving problems, serving others, and becoming a faithful steward of what God has entrusted to you.
